Teamwork Made the Dream Work: Digital-Flo® Order Secured For Orlando Health

The Armstrong Hot Water Group is celebrating a recent order from Affiliated Steam & Hot Water for a Digital-Flo® DF8120DWP8080. The unit will be installed at Orlando Regional Medical Center in downtown Orlando — one of the largest hospitals in the region — and will replace two competitor units.
The success is a testament to the power of teamwork and creative problem-solving. Orlando Health was impressed by the quality workmanship of our hot-water packages during a customer visit to Three Rivers earlier this year, but it was impossible to bring the Digital-Flo® into the mechanical room without first removing both existing units.
Maintaining hot-water supply for patient care and hospital operations was a top priority for Orlando Health, so Ryan Craig, account manager at Affiliated Steam & Hot Water, suggested a WARE rental boiler as a solution — the key factor in securing this order from Orlando Health. Read the full story here.
Special thanks to all involved in this special order! |

Upcoming Price Adjustment – Effective February 2
We want to inform you of an upcoming adjustment to our pricing structure. Beginning February 2, we will implement an average price increase of 6–6.5% across all product groups. This change reflects ongoing market conditions and our commitment to maintaining the quality and reliability you expect from us.
To support a smooth transition, we will distribute updated price books one week prior to the effective date, ensuring you have ample time to review the changes.
As in previous years, we will continue to honor existing active quotes for 30 days following the price adjustment. This grace period is designed to help you manage current projects and budgets with confidence. Additionally, as part of this update, we will be returning to our standard discount structure. These discounts were temporarily modified in May due to tariff-related impacts, and we’re pleased to reinstate them as conditions have stabilized.
We appreciate your continued partnership and are here to support you through this transition. |

Congratulations To Ian Geiger and Mark Quinn
It is with great pleasure to announce two promotions within the Armstrong Steam & Condensate Group.
Ian Geiger has accepted the role of Product Manager for the Thermal Insight Group (formerly known as the Smart Products Group). Ian started at Armstrong back in August of 2021 as an Application Engineer for the S&C Group. By October, he had transitioned into the EPC role, managing large-scale engineering projects primarily within the HPI and CPI industries. In July of 2024, he accepted the position of Product Manager for the Electric Condensate Pumps. Ian brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to driving initiatives. Ian’s leadership will help continue to grow this prominent group.
Mark Quinn has accepted the role of Product Manager for the Electric Condensate Pumps. He started with Armstrong in October of 2023 as a Solutions Specialist for the Distribution team, providing top-notch customer service to that market, and developing strong relationships with distributor sales teams across North America. Mark’s attention to detail and willingness to do whatever it takes will help us continue to grow and strengthen this important product line.
Both moves were effective Dec. 1; however, transitions will occur over the next couple of months as we look to fill the distribution role that Mark is leaving.
Please congratulate Ian and Mark and thank you for helping them make a seamless transition. |
One Year. Countless Lessons. Infinite Gratitude.
It’s been an incredible year of growth and discovery at the Armstrong Learning Center! The feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, and we have so many people to thank for making this initiative possible.
To all our reps, ATMs, and market directors: Thank you for pushing the narrative and introducing so many unique and diverse groups to the resources we provide. This year’s non-standard classes have already proven the value of this work and the impact it will have going forward.
To the presenters: None of this would be possible without you! Your expertise, skills, and generosity with your time make this a truly enjoyable and worthwhile experience for all.
And a very special thanks to those who work behind the scenes:
- Michelle Morrill, Danielle Miller, and Kim Cowing: Thank you for ensuring that the registrations, scheduling, lunches, swag, etc. are handled seamlessly. You kept me functioning and above water!
- To all the guys in the lab: Thank you for all your help keeping us up and functioning and for saving the day on several occasions!
- To the marketing team: Thank you for ensuring our participants were armed with all the tools and materials they need to be successful.
- Finally: Thank you to the CIU team. In a world of technology and non-stop system hiccups, you kept us running smoothly.
I’m thrilled with how 2025 turned out and even more excited about how 2026 is shaping up. We’ll continue to build on decades of knowledge and learning, bringing new ideas to life that enhance our teaching, and enrich all who walk through our doors as we strive to be the premier learning destination in our industry.
Remember: “Knowledge not shared is energy wasted!” Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
