Armstrong Hot Water Group Updates

The Armstrong Hot Water Group is pleased to introduce a talented and knowledgeable team to support the Gas-Fired Water Heaters including ABH/ABHXL and Ascend. Brian Calvey was previously responsible for this product line and has moved to an ATM position in Virginia and the Carolinas.

Josh Reasoner has been promoted to National Sales Manager for Gas-Fired Water Heaters. Josh was formerly the Sales Manager for Hamilton Engineering. Josh holds a degree with a specialization in HVAC Design & Engineering from Ferris State University and his business career CV includes technical roles within the HVAC Installation & Maintenance Contracting sector along with work experiences at Intel, AMD, and Seagate Technology. Scott Sumeracki will be our Inside Sales Application Engineer supporting Armstrong’s Gas-Fired Water Heating line. He previously served as Eastern Regional Manager of the Hamilton Engineering team. Scott earned a BBA from Eastern Michigan University and brings a wealth of highly valued hands-on industry experience following a successful career in installing and servicing HVAC equipment. Alina Springer will serve as Inside Sales Application Engineer supporting the Gas-Fired Water Heating line. She has been with Armstrong for more than five years and previously served as an Inside Sales for the Hamilton Engineering team. Contact Alina at 269-273-1415.

Nanobubble Generator Ideal For Cooling Towers

When we introduced the Armstrong Nanobubble Generator, we knew that it was destined to become a critical component of a clean, healthy commercial/institutional hot water system and an integral part of Armada – Digital Solutions for Healthy Hot Water.

Feedback from our customers has been very positive AND while optimizing hot water systems remains our primary focus, we have learned that another significant pain point is the loss of efficiency and performance caused by scale and other deposits in their cooling towers.

To address this demand, we have developed a new sell sheet and we’ve also added cooling tower content to our edutainment video. We also have a well-stocked inventory of sales assets to assist your ANG promotional efforts. Heat Transfer Rep School Gets High Marks

The Armstrong Heat Transfer Group held another successful Representative School June 3-5 in Granby, Quebec! During the 2 ½ day school, we welcomed 20 Armstrong associates and representatives and gave them an up close and personal look at the quality that goes into our Heat Transfer products during a tour of our plant. The tour was accompanied by a hands-on coil measuring contest that enables our reps to sell more coils at top dollar. Attendees gave the school and the contest high marks.

VERIS Flow Academy Planned For October 8th & 9th

VERIS is pleased to announce that we will be holding two one-day sessions in October for our Flow Academy. While October 8th is completely full, there are still seats open for October 9th. This is a one-day educational seminar covers the VERIS Flow Measurement offerings. It will consist of some classroom time, but will also be focused on hands-on assembly, demonstrations, and the ease of using transmitters and KEPs.

Register Now For Industrial Market Rep School

Armstrong will host an Industrial Market Representative School at our North American Learning Center in Three Rivers, MI on September 9-13. This week-long school will cover a cross section of Armstrong solutions along with sales and marketing strategies for Refining, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage markets. There are a few seats left, so register now!

Order Entry Tips & Reminders

All next day shipments will now require a contact name and phone number for the delivery. This includes:

UPS RED, Early AM, and Saturday Deliveries
Platinum Cargo (Next Day and 2nd Day)

As a reminder, all LTL carriers require a contact name, phone number, building number and/or dock number for “Limited Access Deliveries.”

Listed below are examples of Limited Access Facilities: Hospitals, Medical Facilities, Universities, Refineries, Government Buildings, Correctional Facilities, Churches, Military Bases, Nursing Homes, Hotels, Malls, Construction Sites, Airports, Farms, and Golf Courses.

Please be sure to include a contact name and phone number on your PO when shipping next day or to a Limited Access Facility.

Standard Shipping Times Update

Armstrong has just released updated Standard Shipping Times for various product lines and products. Please take a moment to download and keep it as a handy reference when placing orders.

New Rep Onboarding and Orientation

Has your organization hired new Representatives? Or, has a current Representative changed jobs or perhaps retired? We like to keep our records neat and clean, but we need your help. When there are changes in your organization, log in to your User Portal and click/submit the "Employee Onboarding/Offboarding Form" to keep our business systems updated.

When a new Representative is registered, they will automatically be enrolled in Armstrong's Rep Orientation. The rep will be assigned a username and password to access the Armstrong User Portal and Armstrong University as well as be added to our email distribution lists. Please allow up to 24 hours for a new rep account to be created.

You can also use the form to essentially "remove" a departing Representative from Armstrong's records as well. We appreciate your help in ensuring we always have the most up-to-date contact information for your company. If you have any questions or need help in updating your organization's records, please contact us now.

As our business grows, naturally so does yours. To fortify our partnership and reinforce our support, we have reenergized and restructured our existing Rep onboarding program to better serve new representatives as they begin their selling journey.

Armstrong’s Rep Orientation will include a targeted Armstrong University® curriculum built specifically for Reps supported by Virtual Knowledge “Check Ups”. Once complete, collaborative in-field mentoring will follow ensuring you can apply knowledge to practice on customer calls.
