STEAM, AIR, AND HOT WATER EDITION

Armstrong Nanobubble Generator Makes Waves

The launch of the Armstrong Nanobubble Generator is making waves! The Nanobubble Generator uses patent-pending scale inhibition and removal technology to combat mineral deposits on pipework and other critical equipment within industrial process, commercial and institutional hot water systems. The Armstrong Nanobubble Generator is the latest weapon in the Armstrong Armada℠ Digital Hot Water System Solutions arsenal.

The first Product Champion Training session was held on January 8th and 9th in Grand Rapids, MI. It provided Armstrong technical managers and representatives with an in-depth look at this new technology and its applications. The two-day session featured an interactive sales pitch gaming exercise, a review of successful applications and customer testimonials from the field. Representative webinars were conducted on January 17th and 18th and customers and industry professionals got a glimpse of the Nanobubble Generator at its first public display during the AHR Expo in Chicago at the end of January.

The Armstrong Nanobubble Generator has no moving parts and requires no maintenance or additional electrical inputs. It can easily be added to any commercial, industrial, or institutional hot water system, including systems within hospitals, universities, hotels, manufacturing, and processing plants. The Armstrong Nanobubble Generator creates a cleaner, healthier hot water system and significantly improves operational efficiency and reduce equipment maintenance costs.

Watch this brief video on the Nanobubble Generator and make time to view the brand story and listen to an encore presentation of the January Representative Webinar. You’ll find this along with our customer presentation deck in the Armstrong User Portal.

ISNetworld® Membership Supports Business Opportunities

With the support of Affiliated Steam, Armstrong received the purchase order to survey the 28,000 steam traps at BP in Whiting, IN. To be accepted as a BP contractor, Armstrong International had to be an ISN member with a grade no less than ‘B’ which we successfully achieved. Our technicians also went through extensive training including OSHA10 and BCRC drug testing.

If you come across a customer requiring an ISN to perform a steam trap survey or an engineering study, note that we can now help you secure these projects. Each request is site specific, but most of the documentation we have created can be repurposed.

ISN is the global leader in contractor and supplier information management. ISN’s platform serves as a world-class forum for sharing industry best practices, benchmarking performance, providing data insights among its members, and helping decision makers, including board members, ensure contractor and supplier risk is assessed and monitored. Learn more about ISN and please contact Philippe Moock if you have any questions.

TVS4000 Stainless Steel Transition Is Complete

Last summer we announced that the TVS4000s have been upgraded to include stainless steel handwheels. The TVS4000 with Ductile Iron handwheels is now officially off the market. If you still have the old part numbers with Ductile Iron handwheels in your system, please update them to the new part numbers which can be found in the Pricebook.

Turn Up The Heat With 3 Row Duramix™

Armstrong Duramix™ heating coils combine the advantages of a face and by-pass system with the quality and heavy-duty construction that are part of every Armstrong coil. Armstrong 3 row Duramix™ delivers extra heating capacity due to a higher Btu output afforded by an extra row. With the same dimensions as the standard 1 and 2 row units, for cost effective replacement of existing IFB coils, 3 row Duramix™ delivers maximum freeze protection, accurate temperature control and consistent leaving-air temperature while maintaining the same footprint. Contact the Armstrong Heat Transfer Group for more information.

Pressure & Temperature Control Group Restructures

The Armstrong Pressure & Temperature Controls Group is pleased to announce that David Dykehouse will assume the role of Product Manager. David has been with Armstrong for 11 years working as application engineer and has been solely focused on the PRVs and Control Valves for the last five years. His attention to detail and thoroughness will be perfect for managing these products going forward. The time is right to aggressively grow this product line. Jay Pyne will assume the role of Product Sales Specialist, reporting to David. This change allows Jay to focus on the sales side of this product line and spend more time with representatives and customers.

New Rep Onboarding and Orientation

Has your organization hired new Representatives? Or, has a current Representative changed jobs or perhaps retired? We like to keep our records neat and clean, but we need your help. When there are changes in your organization, log in to your User Portal and click/submit the "Employee Onboarding/Offboarding Form" to keep our business systems updated.

When a new Representative is registered, they will automatically be enrolled in Armstrong's Rep Orientation. The rep will be assigned a username and password to access the Armstrong User Portal and Armstrong University as well as be added to our email distribution lists. Please allow up to 24 hours for a new rep account to be created.

You can also use the form to essentially "remove" a departing Representative from Armstrong's records as well. We appreciate your help in ensuring we always have the most up-to-date contact information for your company. If you have any questions or need help in updating your organization's records, please contact us now.

As our business grows, naturally so does yours. To fortify our partnership and reinforce our support, we have reenergized and restructured our existing Rep onboarding program to better serve new representatives as they begin their selling journey.

Armstrong’s Rep Orientation will include a targeted Armstrong University® curriculum built specifically for Reps supported by Virtual Knowledge “Check Ups”. Once complete, collaborative in-field mentoring will follow ensuring you can apply knowledge to practice on customer calls.
