Updated Change Request Fees On Standard Sales Orders Effective October 1

Currently, there are fees when change requests are made after sales orders have been what we call “picked.” This means the order has been pulled and is in the process of being packaged.

Beginning October 1, for delivery address or shipping method changes, the fee will increase from a $25 flat fee to $40. For product changes, the fee will remain the same – 10 percent of the item’s net cost.

Change requests before “picked” status can continue to be made with no additional fees.

Armstrong Hosts Reps for HPI - CPI Workshop

Armstrong’s Global Petrochem Sales Team in coordination with the Industrial Sales Team hosted 25 North American Reps in Gettysburg, South Dakota for the HPI - CPI Workshop. The workshop featured two strong days of discussions, breakout sessions and presentations to address the challenges and celebrate the successes of selling to the HPI/CPI market. Specifically, the group focused on establishing and executing effective Trap Management Programs with customers. The group enjoyed the seclusive, outdoor environment of Paul Nelson Farms and took advantage of fireside chats and quality time around the bass pond. We really appreciate those who took the time to join us for this incredibly impactful program!
 

Order Entry Tips & Reminders

The Armstrong Order Entry and Customer Service team wants to share some timely tips and reminders to assist and ensure that your orders are received promptly and accurately. This month’s tip is in response to a frequently asked question:

Where do I send in POs and other inquires?

Please send your purchase order requests to the following groups via the email addresses listed below. The email boxes are regularly monitored and submitting your PO requests to these email boxes will help ensure that they are received and processed in a timely manner:

If you have products on one PO that are sourced from multiple groups, please be sure to direct your email to each of the group addresses as applicable. Please also indicate if you would like to have products shipped separately, or if they should be consolidated in one shipment.

Last Call To Register For The Armstrong Heat Transfer School

We only have a few seats left! The Armstrong Heat Transfer Group fall Rep School will be held October 16th through October 18th in Granby, Quebec. The three-day school will cover Armstrong Heat Transfer products, their applications, sales and marketing strategies, and the customers to target for both institutional and industrial markets. All you need is a valid passport to enter Canada! Please contact Sebastien Guay or Marty Stevens to reserve your seat.
 
 

New Rep Onboarding and Orientation

Has your organization hired new Representatives? Or, has a current Representative changed jobs or perhaps retired? We like to keep our records neat and clean, but we need your help. When there are changes in your organization, log in to your User Portal and click/submit the "Employee Onboarding/Offboarding Form" to keep our business systems updated.

When a new Representative is registered, they will automatically be enrolled in Armstrong's Rep Orientation. The rep will be assigned a username and password to access the Armstrong User Portal and Armstrong University as well as be added to our email distribution lists. Please allow up to 24 hours for a new rep account to be created.

You can also use the form to essentially "remove" a departing Representative from Armstrong's records as well. We appreciate your help in ensuring we always have the most up-to-date contact information for your company. If you have any questions or need help in updating your organization's records, please contact us now.

 
As our business grows, naturally so does yours. To fortify our partnership and reinforce our support, we have reenergized and restructured our existing Rep onboarding program to better serve new representatives as they begin their selling journey.

Armstrong’s Rep Orientation will include a targeted Armstrong University® curriculum built specifically for Reps supported by Virtual Knowledge “Check Ups”. Once complete, collaborative in-field mentoring will follow ensuring you can apply knowledge to practice on customer calls.
