STEAM, AIR, AND HOT WATER EDITION

Introducing The Digital Temperature Control Valve

Armstrong International - Hot Water Group is excited to announce the launch of the Digital Temperature Control Valve for precise temperature control within +1°F (0.5°C). The Digital Temperature Control Valve features shear action disc technology that provides reliable performance and long life.

The ceramic shear action valves also feature bubble tight (zero-leakage) shut-off. The seat seal performs beyond ANSI 16.104 (Class VI) requirements. The system responds aggressively to sudden changes to inlet pressures and temperatures to minimize variations in outlet temperature. The Digital Temperature Control Valve is well-suited for water and glycol applications and can also handle several types of hydroxides, solvents, alcohol, acids, ketones, and silicone oils. Download the data sheet and contact us for more information.

Introducing Erick Marmolejo, Director of Global Learning and Development

We welcomed Erick Marmolejo to Armstrong International as the Director of Global Learning and Development last month.

In this new role, Erick will assess Armstrong and identify the greatest opportunities and improvements for learning strategy, process development, technology, and thought leadership. He will also be responsible for identifying performance and organizational development and capabilities while further integrating sales and marketing.

Erick graduated from the University of the Pacific with a B.A. in Psychology/Business. Following, he earned a master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University. Erick went on to complete his Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis from WMU as well.

Previously, Erick boasted an 11-year career with the Kellogg Company - starting as an intern in Sales Learning and Development. He quickly worked his way up to Senior Manager of Commercial Capability Development, where he established and led effective training and development techniques resulting in significant financial returns.

Following his career with Kellogg, Erick worked for Whirlpool Corporation the last four-and-a-half years. As Senior Manager of Sales Capability Development, Erick developed world-class selling strategies to integrate product knowledge and skill development across Whirlpool's North American sales organization.

Erick is clearly enthusiastic and passionate about driving learning and performance thought leadership that deliver results. Armstrong's unique culture as well as our history as a true sage brand attracted Erick to joining our global organization. We believe Erick will be a key component of our company growth, and we look forward to watching him integrate his experiences with our mission.

Erick currently lives in Portage, Michigan with his wife, Brandy, and their four-year-old twins, Leo and Zoey.

We're certain you'll find many enjoyable experiences with each interaction with Erick. Erick can be contacted by email.

New Rep Onboarding and Orientation

Has your organization hired new Representatives? Or, has a current Representative changed jobs or perhaps retired? We like to keep our records neat and clean, but we need your help. When there are changes in your organization, log in to your User Portal and click/submit the "Employee Onboarding/Offboarding Form" to keep our business systems updated.

When a new Representative is registered, they will automatically be enrolled in Armstrong's Rep Orientation. The rep will be assigned a username and password to access the Armstrong User Portal and Armstrong University as well as be added to our email distribution lists. Please allow up to 24 hours for a new rep account to be created.

You can also use the form to essentially "remove" a departing Representative from Armstrong's records as well. We appreciate your help in ensuring we always have the most up-to-date contact information for your company. If you have any questions or need help in updating your organization's records, please contact us now.

As our business grows, naturally so does yours. To fortify our partnership and reinforce our support, we have reenergized and restructured our existing Rep onboarding program to better serve new representatives as they begin their selling journey.

Armstrong’s Rep Orientation will include a targeted Armstrong University® curriculum built specifically for Reps supported by Virtual Knowledge “Check Ups”. Once complete, collaborative in-field mentoring will follow ensuring you can apply knowledge to practice on customer calls.
