Global Hotel Leaders Attend Hospitality Forum

Last week, key engineering decision makers from global hotel brands like Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Ambridge Hospitality and others attended Armstrong's Hospitality Forum in Three Rivers to learn how we can help address their most pressing pain points whether it be creating a healthy hot water system or optimizing their steam systems. We're excited to continue and build upon these relationships as the hospitality industry expects exponential growth in the coming years.

Intermountain Healthcare Innovation Exchange Draws Great Crowd

Last month Armstrong partnered with Energy West Controls to host an Intermountain Healthcare Exchange Summit – following a successful event held back in 2016. The goal of these summits is to provide an open forum to exchange ideas, showcase technologies and highlight best practices among the best and brightest minds that oversee the design, application, management and optimization of steam, air and hot water solutions for healthcare. This event was held in Salt Lake City, Utah and drew 70 participants. Thanks to our partners at Energy West Controls and our subject matter experts at Armstrong for hosting and facilitating this worthwhile event.

Armstrong is also pleased to recognize Energy West Controls with a Silver Award for overall sales performance and a Hot Water sales award. Congratulations!

The Road Not Taken

Granby, Quebec was the setting for the 2023 North America One Team Market Director and ATM sales meeting held the first week of October. The theme of the meeting was The Road Not Taken which set the stage for uncovering opportunities in heat transfer coils, heat pumps and key strategic initiatives including trap management, decarbonization and Armada to grow institutional and industrial sales in North America. Thanks to everyone for participating!

Get To Know Your Local Healthcare Engineer

The American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) is the premiere organization devoted to professionals who design, build, maintain and operate hospitals. Most states have a local chapter, and we encourage you to engage with it. They host meetings including annual conferences and trade shows. Several of our representatives are engaging with their chapters and finding it well worth their time and investment. Here’s what they’re saying:

“We’ve attended and presented (Hot Water, Rada Faucet) at their meetings and tabletop event. Just the contacts alone are worth the price of admission.”

“The local MISHE meetings help me stay in front of these customers on a regular basis. The meetings are very informational and clue me in on issues they are faced with. I volunteer to present at least once a year at a meeting which allows me to show off our products to this group.”

“I find people attending the conferences are very open about issues and concerns they are experiencing. They will communicate more with us in a neutral environment than they will in their own space. Conferences are a great place to interact with customers.”

This interactive map will help you identify your local chapter. Their websites often include a list of members and a calendar of upcoming events. Contact Scott Jacobson, Armstrong’s Director of Healthcare, if you have any questions.

Armstrong Showcases New Digital Hot Water Solutions At ASPE

Armstrong showcased its latest digital hot water solutions including new ASCEND® – the first on-demand, gas-fired water heater with built-in temperature control at this year’s ASPE show in Indianapolis. It was the first time in four years that Armstrong attended the show in person due to the pandemic and a virtual show being held in 2020.

There were many new and familiar faces that stopped by the Armstrong booth, and everyone expressed interest in ASCEND® as well as the new Rada Digital Faucet and of course, The Brain®. Many thanks to our representatives from Affiliated Steam and Hot Water, Power Equipment Company, Merlo Energy, Texas Steam, Associated Steam, ADCO and Mead O’Brien for taking part in the show. Also, special thanks to Hank Lenzen for coordinating a mechanical room tour at the JW Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.
