To manage expectations and to help you make informed decisions, please make note of products that currently have extended lead times. We continue to experience a significant number of delayed customer orders due to international port congestion, domestic vendor capacity issues, internal capacity limitations, and an increase in orders.
We are proactively managing our sourcing methods to alleviate the issues caused by disrupted shipping routes, foundry capacity limitations, and overwhelmed trucking lines. To minimize delays and congestion, we are frequently utilizing air freight options and using additional domestic sources. We continue to look for substitutions and new sources when applicable.
Our team has taken many actions to ensure we get ahead of the situation so we can best fulfill orders. For example, Armstrong has placed blanket purchase orders for supplies and materials to add volume and secure "our place in line". We continue to source additional foundry vendors with capacity as well.
Below is a status update for each division in regards to lead time expectations and order fulfillment. If a product is NOT listed below, an extended lead time is not expected at this time.
Hot Water Group
Lead times are within typical time frames aside from Armstrong Flo-Direct and VFD packages; however those are quoted per project with lead times at that time. Quotes will continue to expire in 30 days. Lead times for Recirc pumps and VFDs have increased to 2 - 3 times the typical lead times. The stainless steel can sets for the AFDs have been pushed out as well.
If you are aware of an order near term, please make us aware so we can plan accordingly. If we are confident this job will close, we’ll pre-purchase long lead time material in advance of POs .

So far, we have been avoiding disruption by successfully securing material for our heat transfer product line. It's typical for the Heat Transfer Group to experience longer lead time on our production in general; however we strongly encourage reps to verify price validity and expected delivery when securing the order.
Humidification Group
Currently, Gas-Fired Humidifiers continue to be 8 - 10 weeks out. Other humidification products are settling back to normal.
We've also improved our communication regarding order status. An automated email will be sent to you each evening if there has been a change to an order. This notification will also include a promised delivery date. You can also check Order Status in your User Portal and/or contact the factory directly.
