Merrill H. “Gus” Armstrong (January 6, 1935 – October 22, 2021)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former president and CEO, Merrill H. "Gus" Armstrong. Gus was a friend to all and we will continue to honor his legacy and be inspired by his loving approach to life.
On Friday, November 19th, we will honor and remember the late Gus Armstrong. Amidst global travel restrictions and domestic COVID concerns, and to also extend the invitation to the public, the service will be live streamed at exactly 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 19th.

25-Year Extended Warranty Brings Peace Of Mind
Armstrong is so confident in the quality of its Electric Pump Packages that we have extended our warranty on cast iron and stainless-steel tanks on Electric Pump Packages up to 120 gallons from one year to 25 years! No more taking exception on specs to the competitors’ warranty!
This new 25-year warranty went into effect on October 15, 2021, and provides protection from the date of shipment against failure due to corrosion provided it has been used in accordance with recommended conditions. All applicable units ordered after this date will be covered by this new warranty and it includes 4200, 4300, 4700 & 4800 Series Packages.

Everactive Trial Kicks Off At Pfizer
Mead O’Brien sold a trial of about 50 Eversensors to Pfizer’s manufacturing plant in McPherson, Kansas. The Eversensors will be installed and the steam traps will be under a tight 90-day monitoring period.
Typically, a 90-day trial covers around 50 steam traps in an area covered by a gateway and installation is performed by Everactive to serve as a training opportunity for your team. All data is collected in a free SAGE trial account for analysis and reporting. Insight sessions with the customer are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly to assess the system and highlight potential savings. After the trial, a summary of findings is provided to evaluate the ROI and capabilities of the monitoring service.

Level 1 Trap Survey Technician Training on December 1 & 2
This certified Level 1 Trap Survey Technician Training, which is the first part of our Trap Survey Technician Level Program, will prepare facilities personnel to accurately and efficiently survey steam and condensate utility systems and diagnose root causes of any trap failures.
The Level 1 Trap Survey Technician will be December 1 and 2 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day at Armstrong's North American Learning Center. We're offering this training for FREE* to those that have purchased a SAGE UMT®. While lunch will be provided each day, your travel accommodations and meals outside of training are not included.
We extend this training opportunity to our representative network and their customers; however participation is limited to 9 seats. New Rep Onboarding and Organization Updates
Has your organization hired new Representatives? Or, has a current Representative changed jobs or perhaps retired? We like to keep our records neat and clean, but we need your help! When there are changes in your organization, please use this form to keep our business systems updated.
When a new Representative registers, they will automatically be assigned a username and password to access the Armstrong User Portal and Armstrong University as well as be added to our email distribution lists. You can also use the form to essentially "remove" a departing Representative from Armstrong's records as well. We appreciate your help in ensuring we always have the most up-to-date contact information for your company.
