Not Enough Straight Run For Your Flowmeter?
Everyone knows what the VERIS Accelabar® is famous for – ZERO straight run. But did you know that you can mount a VERIS Verabar® within 2 diameters of an elbow in plane, and get 3 percent accuracy on applications in a bind? Our application sales specialists can adjust the K-Factor within our Veracalc software to adjust for the lack of straight run when running a flow calculation for your customer’s application. So, the next time you don’t have a straight run when using a VERIS Verabar®, remember, you still have options! |
Are You “Under Pressure” To Meet Spec On A Digital Mixing Center? No problem!
The Brain® Digital Recirculation Valve (DRV) has a rated maximum water pressure of 200 psi. However, our standard pre-piped package is rated at only 150 psi. That includes the DRV-R, DMC FLEX and the DMC series. But don’t let that weigh you down in the presence of a specification that requires 200 psi. That burden can be lifted by sourcing upgraded assembly components via the sales special process. Additionally, the value of three price-points should create some tension for our competition. Contact the Armstrong Hot Water Group Institutional team for this and other intelligent solutions.

Raising The Standard
Check out this article written by Paul Knight and the Armstrong Hot Water Group with a significant contribution from Dan Tomlinson. It appears in the latest issue of Working Pressure magazine and highlights how new age digital water temperature controls have improved user outcomes and changed the way we evaluate institutional hot water system performance and the solutions we apply. |
Price Increase
Due to the current volatility of the price of materials, we anticipate an additional price increase at the end of September. At this time, we currently expect a 5.5% increase in September for Steam and Condensate Group, Humidification Group, and Hot Water Group. The VERIS Flow Measurement Group increase will be around 3%. Please note that Armstrong Heat Transfer Group will not implement an additional price increase at this time.
As always, Armstrong International makes every effort to control costs in order to keep price increases to a minimum. We expect to share updated Price Books at the end of September. |
