Steam as a Service (SaaS) is a 21st century model pioneered by three companies – Armstrong International (through Armstrong Service), Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB)/Munich Re, and Miura Boiler. Together, the three companies are going to market as “the alliance.”

The SaaS model takes the need from the customer to have an expert, or in most cases multiple respective experts, onsite to understand design, equipment selection, financing, construction, and operations and maintenance for thermal utility upgrades. We are seeing a trend where many facilities do not want this responsibility and outsource it.

The alliance allows us to bring a complete solution to the customers who want or need to upgrade their utilities, but do not have all the means to do so, including capital. The ultimate outcome is peace of mind for the customer, allowing them to focus on what they do best while we do what we do best – experts delivering thermal utilities.
