STEAM, AIR, AND HOT WATER EDITION

CV1500 Control Valve New Positioner Options

We are now offering Rotork positioners on the CV1500 Python control valves. We are offering two different models – YT-1000 and YT-3300.

  • The YT-1000 is a basic model I-P electro-pneumatic positioner. We offer the standard version with 4-20 mA input and also an optional version with 4-20 mA feedback.
  • The YT-3300 is a digital smart version I-P electro-pneumatic positioner with easy calibration/setup. We will offer this with standard 4-20 mA input version along with options for HART communication and 4-20 mA feedback.
A major benefit for these models is a lower price point – while still maintaining the quality of our valve offering. We are able to offer one of the above models at a lower price than the Foxboro models that we have offered for years. Including a positioner on our CV1500 control valve enables Armstrong to remain competitively priced.

  • Various applications for controlling pressure, temperature and flow
  • Valve construction and trim selection considerations
  • Options for noise reduction
  • Valve sizing
  • Actuator selection
  • Controller and accessory options

Control Valve Training - November 4 - 5

Armstrong is hosting a Control Valve Rep Training session on November 4th and 5th. This will be a hands-on training focused on CV1500 control valves including applications, sizing, breakdown, assembly, repair and troubleshooting of CV1500 control valves, actuators and positioners. VERIS Verabar® – The Best Choice For Large Pipes & Ducts

The value of the VERIS Verabar® increases substantially as the pipe or duct size increases. For line sizes above 2” in diameter, differential pressure devices account for over 50% of the flow measurement market. Orifice plates are the dominant technology in the differential pressure market, but the VERIS Verabar® has many advantages over the orifice plate including energy savings (low permanent pressure loss), installation cost savings, long term accuracy (+/- 1%), high turndown and less straight run requirements.

Some applications found in the industrial market for large line sizes include air flow to scrubbers, CO flue gas, blast furnace gas, combustion air and municipal water. The VERIS Verabar® ranges from 1.5” all the way to 22 feet in length! Stretch the potential of VERIS Verabar® with your customers.
