Armstrong Partners With Everactive On
Battery-less Steam Trap Monitoring
Armstrong is partnering with Everactive to offer even greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness in steam trap management by integrating Everactive’s award-winning, low-power wireless technology with SAGE®. Existing monitoring devices typically run on batteries to collect data and transmit it back to the cloud. Battery powered devices require continuous monitoring and ultimately, replacement. Everactive’s Eversensors operate on a low level of harvested energy from its surrounding environment making batteries obsolete. The technology has been successfully tested across multiple types of steam traps and modes of operation. The partnership between Armstrong and Everactive is another example of our leadership in reducing energy use, lowering environmental emissions and improving our customer’s bottom line.
