VERIS Verabar® Is Head And Shoulders Above The Rest

In the March issue of perform, we shared “Three Steps to Win More Sales of VERIS Verabar®”. As an extension of those steps, we created a Competitor Comparison that highlights a side-by-side analysis of the unique design, engineering and performance characteristics that make Verabar® the clear choice over its primary competitor. Download the comparison sheet and use it to educate yourself and your customers to drive more sales with Verabar®.

Virtual Training Bridges Physical Limitations

Nothing beats a face-to-face training opportunity, but sometimes it just isn’t possible. Mark Helein of Mead-O’Brien organized a remote training session with an emphasis on steam traps for his customer, Foth Engineering.

Foth has 27 different locations and focuses on industrial markets. Their work ranges from construction management to turnkey projects. We scheduled a one-hour “Lunch and Learn” session through the Armstrong North American Learning Center using the glass trap board, but we received a request to touch on trap selection, strainer screen selection, control valve interaction with heat exchangers and lifting of condensate with modulated steam control.

We conducted the session with 30 engineers – all in remote locations – with the help of Skype. Jon Bingaman and Larry Dickerson used the live glass trap board and glass low pressure trapping (stall) demonstrations to cover all the requested content in one hour, including questions. Foth was very pleased with the presentation and noted that it was one of the better supplier-based training presentations they’ve participated in. If you have customers that are challenged by working from remote locations, Armstrong can help you bridge this gap through virtual training. Contact Jon Bingaman to support your efforts.

EvaPack™ Is The Solution For Scaleway

Scaleway is a European cloud computing company that needed a reliable and energy efficient solution to cool and protect its datacenter – one of the largest in France. EvaPack™ was selected because of its innovative adiabatic process that enables the air to evaporate through a cooling and humidification system. View the energy performance and savings that EvaPack™ delivers and read this blog that explains the considerations that motivated Scaleway to select EvaPack™ as the solution of choice.

Thermal Assessment Strategy Tools and Resources

There’s no better way to get your foot in the door of a target account and demonstrate your expertise than with a thermal assessment. We developed the Thermal Assessments Course to help you learn the purpose and deliverables of a thermal assessment, how to perform it, the tools and instruments to use, reporting and identification of next steps.

After taking this course, you will be able to identify areas of inefficiency, system issues and pain points that will help you create opportunities with new and existing customers. View the course now.

Once you click the link, you will be prompted to log into your user portal. After logging in, you will be directed to the Thermal Assessments Course.
