First Industrial Market Training School Draws Rave Reviews

Armstrong’s first Industrial Market Representative Training School was held in March and it was a huge success. In a period of many “firsts”, this event was our first comprehensive training program held in our new Global Learning Center in Three Rivers, and our first in-depth training school focused on the Industrial Market. More than 20 individuals participated in the week-long school that included training on steam basics, steam trap management, industrial hot water, flow measurement, humidification, heat transfer and more – all from the perspective of the industrial market. Thanks to everyone for their support and participation!

Armstrong Builds Relationships At Regional Events

During March madness, Armstrong scored points by participating in the West Michigan conference of the Association of Physical Plant Administrators (APPA). The APPA is responsible for learning and development of facilities professionals focused on higher education environments. The conference was held at Michigan State University and drew participants from colleges and universities across the state and region. Armstrong takes an active role by sponsoring state chapters across the country to network and build relationships with higher education facilities professionals as well as specifying engineers, architects, mechanical and general contractors. Visit APPA.org and click on Regions and State Chapters to learn how to get involved or contact Tom Hiatt for more information.

On March 20th and 21st, Armstrong participated in the Association of Energy Engineers East Energy Conference & Expo in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center. As part of this program, Marty Stevens gave a presentation on heat transfer coil design. Armstrong was also the leader in the pre-conference referral link contest and was awarded free sponsorship of the luncheon in the exhibit hall. Thanks to everyone for their participation.
