Three Steps To Win More Sales Of VERIS Verabar®

Winning more sales and customers for VERIS Verabar ® is as easy as following these three simple steps:

  1. Help The User
It’s very likely that users have issues with 20 percent or more of their flow meters. They are either not functioning or not performing to specifications. This is especially true for other insert meters such as turbine, sonic and thermal. Users rank reliability, accuracy and ease of installation/calibration as their top three criteria for meter selection.
  2. Explain The Verabar Difference
First, it’s the most reliable design – Clogging can occur in low-pressure ports located in or near the partial vacuum at the rear of the sensor. The Verabar design features low-pressure ports on the sides of the sensor and forward of the fluid separation point and wake area to virtually eliminate clogging and produce an extremely reliable signal.

Second, installation is fast, simple and cost effective – a typical installation is less than half the cost of other alternatives. Verabar can be installed and removed without depressurizing the pipe (hot tap models). Once installed, Verabar delivers years of trouble-free operation.

Third, Verabar is verified accurate – Verabar eliminates the need for calibration tests to characterize the coefficient and empirical test data from independent laboratories. This is published in the Verabar Flow Test Report.
  3. Find An Application
One out of three users will have an immediate application need – either a new installation or replacement of an existing meter. Follow this Quick Model Section Guide and the FASTER (Factory Assisted, Sales and Technical Response) method for ordering. Be sure to remind users that Verabar offers a 5-year performance warranty. Install a Verabar…walk away…it works!

Custom Built To Your Specifications

Strainers play a critical role in a wide range of industrial applications including water, petrochemicals, utilities and process equipment. Strainers remove harmful impurities and particles to ensure smooth and efficient operation of any energy system. Strainers do a thankless job and it’s never a “one-size fits all” solution.

Armstrong offers a wide variety of configurations including Y, T, Basket, Duplex and Conical strainers as well as material types including forged, cast iron, carbon steel and stainless steel. We custom fabricate strainers to your exacting standards from our plants in South Korea and Canada. View our custom fabricated strainers and contact Jose Orozco to build one for you.

Spring Ahead

Spring is here and soon the summer cooling season will be in full swing. Now is a great time to support customers who may already be planning unit shutdowns to replace cooling coils. Remember that Armstrong Duralite™ Plate Fin Liquid Coils are available in a wide-range of construction designs and material thicknesses - from two to 12 rows, with double, full or half circuits, and custom circuits are also available. All Armstrong coils are custom built, and the connection location can be fabricated for easy replacement. And don't forget about our Quick Ship program. For more information contact an Armstrong Heat Transfer Group application engineer at 450-378-2655.

SH900 Part Number Update

Last fall we shared the news that the Armstrong SH900 will no longer be painted. In making that change, we have also updated our standard part numbers. Please see page 67 of the latest price book that was distributed in February and take a moment to update your internal system with the new part numbers as you place orders.
