STEAM, AIR, AND HOT WATER EDITION

Save The Date

Save the date for the Armstrong North American Sales Representative meeting to be held October 15-17 in Three Rivers, Michigan.

This year’s theme – “Fortress North America” – reflects the heritage, importance and unwavering commitment to where it all began. While Armstrong is one global team, we remain focused and motivated to fulfill the needs of our North America customers.

Highlights of the event includes a welcome dinner on Monday evening, followed by a full day meeting on Tuesday and a wrap up on Wednesday morning. The meeting will coincide with the grand opening of the new Armstrong Global Learning Center. Armstrong will secure and pay for a two-night stay at the Radisson in downtown Kalamazoo. Travel arrangements and expenses will be your responsibility. Watch for a detailed agenda and official invitation email coming soon!

New Competitively Priced Strainers

Strainer things have happened! Armstrong is launching two new lines of integral flanged cast carbon steel and cast stainless steel strainers. The YCS-B (carbon steel) and YSS-E (stainless steel) will replace all current class 150, 300 and 600 flanged carbon steel and stainless steel strainers in sizes 2 to 12 inches. Screwed and socket weld versions of the B and E strainers will still be available. View this table to see the changes being made.

While body materials will remain the same between old and new models, the overall design will change. As a result, the new YCS-B and YSS-E will have face-to-face dimensions in accordance with ASME B16.10. Competitively priced and readily available, components for these new models will be stocked in Three Rivers and typically available within 7 to 10 days for standard quantities. Download the updated literature for more information.
