New Armstrong Global Learning Center Breaks Ground

The much-anticipated ground breaking for the new Armstrong Global Learning Center has begun! The new center will occupy the historic original Armstrong Machine Works building that the “Three Rivers Improvement Association” provided to the Armstrong family in 1900. The Association provided land and a 40 x 100-foot shell of a building at the corner of Maple and Bennet streets in exchange for a 5-year commitment to employ at least 15 people. Watch for updates as we bring this world-class Learning Center to life.

Unparalleled And Uninterrupted Consistency And Accuracy

Through Armstrong's partnership with OTO Development, we commissioned The Brain® Model DRV80 1st generation in the Hampton Inn West located in Sacramento, California on March 1, 2009. Every 4 seconds The Brain® queries the cold, hot and mixed outlet thermistors and then makes an adjustment. Over the course of the past 9 years, there have been 70,984,548 queries and possible adjustments with ZERO issues. After more than 78,782 hours or 3,286 days, The Brain® consistently provides accurate water temperature control from the start.

Quality Steam With Steam QM-3

Supplying quality steam is not only important for the sterilization process and the quality of the sterile product, it also influences the serviceability and longevity of the sterilizer and all its associated equipment.

A new video is now available on Armstrong University to better understand where and why to use the QM-3 as well as a detailed look at how it works. This video is intended for internal use only and should not be shared with customers.  A webinar will follow in the coming weeks to answer questions you may have and review some of the applications where the QM-3 was sold to monitor steam quality – which is essential to proper sterilization in autoclaves in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Watch And Learn

Webinars are a great way to learn about VERIS Flow Measurement solutions including Accelabar® and Verabar®. In addition to gaining a better understanding of these solutions, you’ll also learn how to identify common applications and uncover sales strategies for targeting projects, EPCs and end users. Watch the VERIS Accelabar® and VERIS Verabar® webinar.

VERIS Accelabar® Makes The Grade In Higher Ed

Prestigious universities such as Yale have high standards. Yet with campus buildings over 100 years old and various pipe configurations, their current metering solutions didn’t measure up. Read more about how the VERIS Accelabar® made the grade for Yale University.

Boxed Right

Armstrong is committed to continuous improvements that reduce energy consumption and minimize our impact on the environment. We recently commissioned an innovative machine from Packsize that enables us to create on-demand, right-sized boxes for each order. This new machine enables us to minimize packing materials, reduce the amount of cardboard that is used and eliminate box inventory in our warehouse. Having the right-sized box also helps minimize damages that may occur in shipping as well as reduce shipping costs.
