New Lead Management System

Beginning November 6th, we will be implementing a new lead management system called Interlynx. This new system enables better sharing and tracking of leads that Armstrong supplies to you. For all leads that “Request a Quote” or are “Marketing Qualified”, you will receive an email from Interlynx that contains complete information on the lead along with attachments including the back-end website tracking from Act-On. We ask that sales representatives report back on all follow-up activity through the online system. Weekly reports will be distributed to both Armstrong sales personnel and designated rep contacts. Please email support@Armstrong-interlynx.com if you have any questions about the system or need technical support.

VERIS Accelebar® Tops The Class In Higher Education

Higher education institutions such as Western Michigan University count on Armstrong solutions to help them efficiently manage their energy system. View this case study that demonstrates how VERIS Accelebar® delivers a single solution for accurate and reliable flow measurement that enables WMU to charge back steam usage even during seasons with a high turndown.

What’s Wrong With This Photo?

Congratulations to Keith Duncan of Power Equipment in Tennessee for being the first to correctly answer the What’s Wrong photo featuring Accelabar®. The answer is: The Accelebar head was in the wrong orientation. The unit was built for a horizontal pipe but was installed in a vertical pipe. This results in one port being higher than the other creating an offset in the water legs which in turn, creates a false differential pressure and an inaccurate reading.

Tips To Speed Up Special Orders

In our continued effort to speed up the process for special orders, please be sure that incoming orders include a note calling out that a “special part” is being ordered. A non-standard part is required if the part number on the quote from Armstrong begins with 100XXX. This will alert our order entry team to start the sales special process immediately. Also, if you receive a quote from the Armstrong Application Team, please be sure to reference the quote number on the purchase order. This will aid us in the order tracking process.

Customize Your Sales Pitch

The Armstrong Heat Transfer Group has created individual product sheets that can be customized by you to include your contact information. Seven sheets are now available for download and customization.

Armstrong Steam Quality Featured At ISPE

Left to right: Mike Calogero – Armstrong International; Mark Braatz – FW Webb Process Controls Division; Philippe Moock – Armstrong International

Last month Armstrong International and FW Webb - Process Controls Division exhibited at the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) in Boston. The show was a great venue to highlight the Armstrong Steam Quality Monitor - QM®-3. Already approved in Europe, the U.S., and China, the patent of the QM®-3 has also been recently approved in Canada. It is well known that the sterilization process, the quality of the sterile product, and the serviceability and longevity of the sterilizer and its associated equipment are greatly influenced by the quality of steam supplied to a sterilizer. Sterilization is a process where efficiency cannot be verified by inspection or testing of the product before use. For this reason, sterilization processes must be validated, the performance of the process routinely monitored, and the equipment maintained.

The QM®-3 is now recognized globally as an alternative procedure to the one described in the EN285 as it gives equivalent results to the method specified in this European Standard. Measuring dryness fraction, non-condensable gases, and superheat at atmospheric pressure is now quick, easy, and safe.
