STEAM, AIR, AND HOT WATER EDITION

Armstrong Tech Summit Highlights

Last month Armstrong hosted its first ever Tech Summit. Its goal was to help everyone learn more about Armstrong’s new ground breaking technology and how to leverage it to drive new sales opportunities.

The launch of SAGE was the highlight of the Tech Summit. This fully integrated software represents the future of steam and hot water system management. SAGE works seamlessly with all of our real-time monitoring products including AIM®, SteamEye® and The Brain®, as it analyzes data to track behavior and performance 24-7. A webinar series is being planned to support the launch and you can learn more about SAGE at sagebyarmstrong.com.

The Hot Water Group previewed its new Digital-Flo® Semi-Instantaneous water heater and the response was also overwhelmingly positive. Rep teams have desired a vertical water heater solution for some time and we’re excited to bring it forward! We have 16 standard packages with available data sheets, spec sheets, submittal drawings, responses to frequently asked questions and features and benefits.

Please take a moment to download this preliminary launch package and look for the unveiling on our website and the full launch package containing all the supporting materials on July 1. Please contact Tim Jones for pricing. Download our new Digital How Water Solutions brochure and use it as you make your presentations to plumbing engineers, contractors and end users. Contact Jan Blasius to order quantities of the printed brochure.

Hot Water and Heat Transfer Group Price Increase Effective July 3

A price increase will take effect July 3 on Armstrong Heat Transfer Group products and selected Armstrong Hot Water Group product groups excluding The Brain® and Water Heater packages. Price books will be available for download on June 24.

Bolt On More Sales

Now is a great time to add to your sales by promoting the IS-4 Bolt Connector – especially since there are no competitors offering this technology. The IS-4 universal connector is compatible with the Armstrong SH4000 and IB4000 high pressure steam traps and we can provide the IS-4 for NPT, SW or flanged connections. Customers really like this technology because it makes it easy to replace a trap in a matter of minutes versus having to cut it out of the line and then weld in a trap further back in the line. Armstrong is also amplifying the promotion of Stainless Steel IB Steam Traps and space-saving Trap Value Stations through an email marketing campaign.

How To Handle Armstrong Website Contact Us Requests

We receive numerous Contact Us requests from the Armstrong website on a daily basis and forward those to our Rep companies. However, there has been some confusion on who should handle the inquires. Just to clarify, even though an Armstrong contact name is the “To” section of the email and Rep company names are in the “CC” section, Rep companies are to take the lead and follow up on all website inquiries. If you need assistance with the Contact Us request, please email the appropriate group. If you have a general question on Contact Us inquiries, or would like to update where Contact Us emails are sent, please email Lara Story.

VERIS Accelabar® Outperforms Competitors In District Steam Systems

The VERIS Accelabar® has earned a reputation for being the meter of choice in district steam systems. Its robust performance and ability to accurately measure a large range of steam flows creates a strong value proposition over vortex, turbine and cone type meters, orifice plates and others.
